Jax Kar Wash - Troy (East)

Came to get a car wash and was talked into signing up by a salesperson at the crooks and maple location. During their pitch I was told about the everything plus and something called “carbonite” coating I believe. I chose the level under plus for the discount and I was told that since I signed up I would get the “carbonite” this one time. When I went through the “carbonite” light didn’t come on so I pulled back to the salesman and asked about it. He told me to go back through and that he would talk to the person running the wash who happened to be the manager. I sat at the entrance of the wash for a couple minutes while they talked and then the manager came up and said the associate was wrong that I don’t get carbonite. I told the manager that’s false advertisement and that if I was told that by a rep while signing up then he had to honor it. He responded “who has to honor it?” in a very condescending and argumentative way. I was very taken back and confused why this person would talk to a customer that way and why they wouldn’t honor what seemed to be a very small mistake by the salesperson. I then asked if he was the owner because I couldn’t imagine an employee would speak or act

Regular monthly customer. Washed car at 15 mile/Troy, MI. Attendant took the time to address lots of road bugs/bird doo due to road trip. Let solvent sit twice. Very nice of him. Car came out looking great. Highly recommend! Thanks Jax!

The young men at the entry gate and the director / beginning of the wash were super helpful and polite! Andrew provided THE BEST towel wipedown I've ever had from Jax! It’s great to see that the automatic rotating cloth drier is fixed — it was broke a month or two ago. THANK YOU for the best overall experience I’ve had to date!

Probably the most expensive car wash around. I ordered the "Everything wash" and the quality was pretty bad. My car came out with streaks of dirt all around. Wasn't even that dry, and after 30-40min everything was covered with white dried droplets. Tire shine was included in the "Everything Wash", judge for yourself from the photos. Do not recommend!

I used to love Jax Kar Wash — no matter the location, you could always count on both sides of your vehicle being sprayed with strong, powerful water. Recently, however, I’ve noticed a decline in service. Now it seems only one side is sprayed, and sometimes only the front and driver-side windows are done, leaving the body, back side, and rear window untouched. The water pressure also appears weaker than it used to be. A few times I had to go back through and that should not count as my second time. There was a time when the entire vehicle was thoroughly sprayed without having to ask — and customers shouldn’t have to request that level of service. I’ve also noticed that one location uses a brush to help clean vehicles, which makes a difference in the overall result. Additionally, some workers only half-dry vehicles or use towels that are too wet. Since there are plenty of towels available, please ensure dry towels are used to properly wipe down vehicles. Thank you for your attention to these concerns. I hope to see the excellent service Jax Kar Wash was once known for return.
